Lovingly Boxed for Preserving Beauty
Patterns and Routines Rule Much of Every Day Life!
Patterns and Routines, sorry to admit, rule much of my time. Today I will try for Present-Moment Living, rather than my routine of awakening and pattering on to brush teeth and….later find myself with a cup of coffee in my hand while I do not even remember seeing my kitchen. For today I will greet whoever I encounter with a lilting voice and a “Howdy.” Yea, right….but this is my goal: my GOAL even for that sales phone caller, text messages, and persons passing by. Stop by tomorrow and hear the end of the story.

Encouraging persons
It takes no more time to encourage someone than it does to thoughtlessly say something. A trick is to give yourself a “Moment’s-Edge” before launching into your question, comment, request. You can do a “Moment’s-Edge” by electing a cue phrase as ‘I would so like to mention:’ “I like that design.” After the person you have encouraged responds….. It is again your turn. And you are ready to continue: make your exchange, make your request, smile, or wave as you continue on down the hall.
